More disappointment!!

I am soooo ready to just give up all hope...AGAIN the submittal of our dossier has been postponed a week. Apparently, they need a document in order to be able to submit it. What document that is, I have no idea... All I can say is "Why? why? why?" I honestly feel like we are NEVER going to get our son. I have been reading other people's blogs and they're entire process is like 4 months and they already have their child home. Why is ours constantly getting postponed? I honestly don't know how much more of this I can take. The rollercoaster ride is getting to be a bit nauseating!

  1. This process can really be heartwrenching...especially with setbacks like this one. I watched a few other dossiers get sent in and processed (one of which belongs to a family who is now there!) as ours literally sat in country for 3 weeks waiting for the SDA to re-open. It is very disappointing and I'm sorry you're having to wait another week to move ahead in reaching TJ. :(

  2. Suzanne,I so understand that place you're at. For obvious reasons, my dossier won't even be submitted for an estimated 6 more weeks. UGH, is it ever going to happen? YES it is! That I know for both of us. Is it going to happen in the timeframe either of us liked? NOPE but it still will happen. I've also seen people whiz through the whole process when there seems to be none for me. I still can't get USCIS to set a date for fingerprints and my daughter has two trips to take this summer after graduation. We all have frustrations, but for me it just helps to focus on that beautiful face I have in front of me. Doesn't stop me from wanting what I want but it helps. :)

  3. Oh! So very sorry. I'd be going nuts if I were you. Are you in communication with your facilitator yet? I hope you are able to get this fixed and submitted next week.

  4. TAke heart... YOu are farther along than us! We are stuck at the USCIS process and have had to get our Congressman involved. It IS hard to see some families fly by and others sit and wait and wait and wait. We have to keep trusting that it is all in God's timing! Praying that your paperwork is submitted soon...
